This was the first and the last time we eat here. Wasn’t worth $100 to eat here today. The food was flavorless. The steamed shrimp was hard to peel and the crabs balls were fishy tasting. The cannoli dips was good and the breaded shrimps were good. The cream crab had NO crab meat in it. The crab dip was flavorless. When I added old bay it made it way to salty so didn’t like that. The fried chicken was juicy but the breading had no flavor tasted like just floured breaded chicken. The baked beans tasted weird I think canned baked beans are def better. The ribs were hard and flavorless. Just not a very good to me or my family and won’t be coming back. Jordan the waiter was awesome tho and he took great care of us while we ate here but the over all food quality was HORRIBLE! Better off going to McDonald’s down the street or anywhere else!

We stayed in Ocean City, MD for a few days, and my oldest son really wanted to eat at Bonfire Buffet before we left. I wasn’t feeling well that evening and didn’t plan to eat, but I wanted to accompany my three children while they had dinner.
Before going in, I specifically asked the front desk whether it was okay for me to sit with my youngest son without eating. The employee wasn’t sure, so she asked the manager. After checking, we were told that it was fine to enter.
The host seated us and asked my children’s ages. About five minutes later, the same manager came over and told us we had to leave because of their policy. When I politely asked to see the policy, he refused to show it to us.
I understand that restaurants have the right to enforce their own policies. However, what upset me was being told “yes,” seated at a table, and then asked to leave moments later in front of my children. A consistent explanation at the entrance would have avoided an embarrassing and disappointing situation.
I’m sharing this experience so others know what happened and so the restaurant might consider handling similar situations more consistently and respectfully in the future.

The food was pretty good. The prices were high. The all you can eat should have plate amount options, because 3 of us only had 1 plate. The staff is great, but very overextended. It took a bit to get our bill. Overall, a pretty good experience.
